Stabilin-1 Antibody (4G9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the Stabilin-1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Stabilin-1 antibody (4G9) is available as a non-conjugated format. Stabilin-1, also known as MS-1 antigen or FEEL1, is a large transmembrane receptor protein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, angiogenesis, lymphocyte homing, and receptor scavenging. Stabilin-1 is primarily located on the surface of sinusoidal endothelial cells in the liver, spleen, lymph nodes, and placenta, where Stabilin-1′s presence is vital for maintaining vascular integrity and facilitating immune responses. The structure of Stabilin-1 includes tandem fasciclin domains, epidermal growth factor-like repeats, and a C-type lectin-like hyaluronan-binding link module, which collectively enable Stabilin-1 to function as an endocytic receptor for acetylated low-density lipoprotein and advanced glycation end products. Additionally, Stabilin-1 has been implicated in mediating the homing of leukocytes across lymph node high endothelial venules and the adhesion of metastatic tumor cells to peritumoral lymphatic vessels, highlighting Stabilin-1′s importance in both immune surveillance and cancer progression.
