Is there any difference between two SSEA4 antibodies (sc-59368 and sc-21704)?

Thank you for your question. Both Anti-SSEA-4 Antibody (MC813): sc-59368 and Anti-SSEA-4 Antibody (813-70): sc-21704 are mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ antibodies that recognizes SSEA-4 and are recommended for IF and FCM. They recognize different epitopes on their target protein and as such may have different binding properties from one another.

I would like to detect SSEA-4 by flow cytometer. Does this antibody (sc-21704 PE) contain conjugated dye which would emit the step of incubation with secondary antibody? Which isotype control should I use for this antibody (sc-21704 PE)?

Yes, we offer this antibody directly conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-21704 PE), which would allow for direct fluorescent detection without the use of a secondary antibody. SSEA-4 Antibody (813-70) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3. If you are using the PE conjugated primary antibody, the recommended isotype control is normal mouse IgG3-PE: sc-2869.
