Datasheets
  • SRP14 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ SRP14 antibody, cited in 1 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 35-73 within an internal region of SRP14 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of SRP14 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for SRP14 Antibody (B-3) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with SRP14 Antibody (B-3) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

SRP14 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects SRP14 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SRP14 (B-3) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. SRP14 plays a critical role in signal recognition particle (SRP) function, which is essential for proper targeting of nascent proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum. This targeting is vital for translocation of proteins destined for secretion or incorporation into the cell membrane, thereby influencing cellular function and homeostasis. SRP complex, including SRP14, is composed of RNA and protein components, and its integrity is crucial for efficient recognition and binding of ribosome-nascent chain complexes. Disruption of SRP function can lead to protein mislocalization, which may contribute to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. SRP14′s interaction with SRP9 is particularly important, as this heterodimer stabilizes SRP RNA structure, facilitating its role in protein targeting.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377012 P appropriate for?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
