SRm300 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SRm300 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SRm300 (C-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SRm300 plays a crucial role in regulating pre-mRNA splicing, functioning as a splicing coactivator that enhances interaction between splicing factors and pre-mRNA. SRm300 is part of a larger complex that includes serine/arginine (SR)-rich nuclear matrix proteins and is essential for accurate recognition of splice sites, which is vital for generating mature mRNA transcripts. SRm300 interacts with specific small nuclear ribonucleoprotein particles (snRNPs) and other splicing factors, facilitating spliceosome assembly and ensuring splicing event fidelity. By stabilizing the splicing complex, SRm300 helps mediate alternative splicing patterns, which are critical for generating protein diversity and regulating gene expression in response to cellular signals. SRm300′s ability to promote these interactions underscores its importance in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, making SRm300 a valuable target for research in molecular biology and genetics.
