    SEE ALSO...

SREB1 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SREB1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SREB1 (H-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SREB1 protein, also known as GPR27 (G protein-coupled receptor 27), is a member of the super conserved receptor expressed in brain subfamily of G protein-coupled receptors, which are crucial for mediating cell signaling in response to external stimuli. SREB1 is predominantly expressed in the central nervous system, where SREB1 plays a significant role in neuronal communication and may function as an amine-like receptor. SREB1 structure features seven transmembrane domains and extracellular loops that are subject to glycosylation, which is essential for maintaining receptor stability and function. These extracellular loops contain conserved cysteine residues that form disulfide bonds, further stabilizing the receptor′s conformation. Understanding SREB1 structure and function is vital, as such knowledge may provide insights into SREB1′s role in neurobiology and potential implications in neurological disorders.
