SRD5A2L2 Antibody (601CT22.4.3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SRD5A2L2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB). Anti-SRD5A2L2 antibody (601CT22.4.3) is available as a non-conjugated format. SRD5A2L2, also known as steroid 5-alpha-reductase 2-like 2 protein, TERL, GPSN2L, or trans-2,3-enoyl-CoA reductase-like, is a 363 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism and cellular signaling pathways. SRD5A2L2 functions in steroid hormone reduction, influencing various physiological processes, including development and reproduction. Located within the cell membrane, SRD5A2L2 interacts with lipid substrates and other membrane-associated proteins, facilitating enzymatic activity. SRD5A2L2 is encoded by a gene on human chromosome 4, a region significant for genetic diversity and association with various genetic disorders, including Huntington′s disease and polycystic kidney disease. SRD5A2L2 (601CT22.4.3) antibody specifically targets this protein, making this reagent valuable for researchers studying its role in health and disease.
