    SEE ALSO...

SR-3B Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SR-3B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SR-3B (H-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SR-3B protein, a 441 amino acid subunit of the serotonin receptor, plays a crucial role in mediating fast, depolarizing responses in neurons upon activation, which is essential for neurotransmission and various physiological processes. SR-3B protein is predominantly expressed in the brain, particularly in regions such as the hippocampus, thalamus, caudate nucleus, and amygdala, while showing no expression in the heart, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, or pancreas. SR-3B protein′s specific localization in the central nervous system highlights SR-3B′s importance in modulating neuronal excitability and synaptic transmission, which are vital for cognitive functions and emotional regulation. Understanding SR-3B protein′s role in these processes can provide insights into SR-3B′s involvement in psychiatric disorders and other neurological conditions, making SR-3B (H-9) monoclonal antibody a valuable tool for researchers studying serotonin signaling pathways.
