Datasheets
  • SPIN90 Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ SPIN90 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 43-65 near the N-terminus of SPIN90 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of SPIN90 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for SPIN90 Antibody (B-6) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with SPIN90 Antibody (B-6) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

SPIN90 Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects SPIN90 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SPIN90 antibody (B-6) is available as the non-conjugated form. SPIN90, also known as NCK-interacting protein with SH3 domain or diaphanous protein-interacting protein (DIP-1), is a 722 amino acid protein encoded by the human gene SPIN90. SPIN90 is primarily located in the nucleus and contains an SH3 domain, a proline-rich domain, and a bipartite nuclear localization signal, which are crucial for cellular processes. Nuclear localization of SPIN90 enables interaction with various nuclear factors, influencing gene expression and cellular signaling pathways. SPIN90 plays a vital role in stress fiber formation induced by active diaphanous protein homolog 1 (DRF1) and participates in myofibril assembly into sarcomeres, essential for muscle contraction. SPIN90 regulates actin polymerization and cell adhesion, maintaining cellular structure and function. A chromosomal aberration involving SPIN90/AF3p21 has been identified in therapy-related leukemia, suggesting a potential role in oncogenesis. MLL gene, frequently rearranged in leukemia, is located at chromosome 11q23 and participates in various chromosomal translocations, particularly in infantile and therapy-related leukemia, highlighting SPIN90′s significance in normal cellular function and disease states.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514232 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
