SEE ALSO...

Sp3 Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Sp3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Sp3 (F-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Sp3 protein, a member of the Sp transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression by binding to GC-rich promoter regions, which is essential for transcription of various genes involved in cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Sp3 modulates transcription during cellular responses to external stimuli and developmental processes. Sp3 can inhibit transcriptional activity of other Sp family members, such as Sp1 and Sp4, thereby fine-tuning gene expression in response to specific cellular conditions. Sp3 exists in multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing, which adds another layer of complexity to regulatory functions. Diverse roles of Sp3 in gene regulation underscore significance in both normal physiological processes and disease states, making anti-Sp3 antibody (F-7) a valuable tool for researchers studying transcriptional regulation and biological implications.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-28305 X be used instead of the standard form sc-28305?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
