Sox-30 Antibody (G-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Sox-30 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Sox-30 (G-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Sox-30, also known as SRY-related HMG-box transcription factor 30, plays a crucial role in embryonic development and cell fate determination, particularly in male germ cell differentiation. Sox-30 is predominantly expressed in the testis, functioning as a transcriptional regulator by forming complexes with other proteins to influence gene expression patterns essential for male reproductive development. Sox-30 contains a high mobility group (HMG) box, a unique DNA-binding domain also found in the SRY gene, critical for sex determination. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms exist for human Sox-30, highlighting the complexity and regulatory potential of this transcription factor. Sox-30 and other Sox family transcription factors are evolutionarily conserved and play significant roles in various developmental processes across different species, making Sox-30 a vital area of study in understanding developmental biology and potential implications in reproductive health.
