SNRPC Antibody (4H12) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects SNRPC protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SNRPC antibody (4H12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SNRPC protein, or small nuclear ribonucleoprotein polypeptide C, is a 159 amino acid protein primarily localized in the nucleus, where SNRPC plays a crucial role in the assembly and function of the spliceosome, a complex responsible for processing pre-mRNA into mature mRNA. This function is vital for gene expression regulation and the production of functional proteins, making SNRPC essential for cellular homeostasis and proper development. The gene encoding SNRPC is located on human chromosome 6, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including early onset intestinal cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. SNRPC′s ability to interact with other proteins, such as U1 SnRNP 70, further underscores SNRPC′s importance in ribonucleoprotein-related events, highlighting SNRPC′s potential as a target for research into splicing mechanisms and related pathologies.

To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody.
