SEE ALSO...

SNAP 25 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SNAP 25 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-SNAP 25 antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, such as agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SNAP 25 plays a crucial role in regulating neurotransmitter release, functioning as a key component of the SNARE complex, which is essential for synaptic vesicle fusion with the presynaptic membrane. This process enables neurotransmitter release into the synaptic cleft, facilitating communication between neurons. Proper functioning of SNAP 25 is critical for normal neuronal activity, and dysregulation has been implicated in various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders. SNAP 25 also interacts with other proteins involved in exocytosis, such as syntaxins and VAMPs, forming a complex necessary for effective neurotransmitter release. Understanding SNAP 25 and its interactions is essential for elucidating synaptic transmission mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets for neurological diseases.

Are there any issues with using sc-376713: SNAP 25 (H-1) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-376713 conjugates.
