Datasheets
  • SIRP-γ Antibody (OX117) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ SIRP-γ antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against recombinant SIRP-γ of human origin
  • SIRP-gamma Antibody (OX117) is recommended for detection of SIRP-γ and SIRP-β of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP and FCM
  • m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for SIRP-γ Antibody (OX117) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with SIRP-γ Antibody (OX117) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

SIRP-γ Antibody (OX117) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SIRP-gamma protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). SIRP-γ (OX117) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The SIRP family, which includes SIRP-γ, plays a crucial role in immune regulation, particularly in T cell signaling. SIRP-γ is predominantly expressed on T cells and a subset of B cells, where SIRP-γ interacts with CD47, a protein that provides a "don′t eat me" signal to macrophages, thereby inhibiting phagocytosis. This interaction is vital for maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing autoimmunity. The unique structure of SIRP-γ, which includes an extracellular domain with immunoglobulin-like motifs, allows SIRP-γ to effectively mediate these interactions, influencing T cell activation and response to external stimuli. Understanding SIRP-γ function and interactions is essential for developing therapeutic strategies targeting immune responses in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders.

How can SIRP-γ (OX117): sc-53112 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: AbPolly
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53112 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53112 FITC).
