SEE ALSO...

SIRP-α Antibody (SE7C2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the SIRP-alpha protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). SIRP-α (SE7C2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SIRP-α, also known as SIRP-α1, SIRP-α2, or SIRP-α3, is a transmembrane glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses. SIRP-α contains an extracellular domain with three immunoglobulin-like structures and a cytoplasmic region featuring four potential tyrosine phosphorylation sites. SIRP-α is primarily located on the surface of immune cells, where SIRP-α interacts with CD47, a "don′t eat me" signal that inhibits phagocytosis by macrophages. This interaction is vital for maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing autoimmunity, as SIRP-α helps to regulate the balance between immune activation and inhibition. Additionally, SIRP-α has been shown to negatively regulate cellular responses to growth factors and oncogenes, thereby influencing cell survival and motility. SIRP-α′s ability to modulate these pathways underscores its importance in both normal immune function and the pathogenesis of various diseases, including cancer.

Is this anti-SIRP alpha antibody cross-react with SIRP beta?. Specifically, I want detect the expression of SIRPa by flow cytometry but I have a concern of this point. Thanks.

Asked by: Pasut Sasithong
Thank you for your question . SIRP-α (SE7C2) antibody does cross react with SIRP beta. It does not cross react with SIRP a2.

Bonjour, Pourriez-vous me dire si cet anticorps est capable de lier les deux isoformes de SIRPa (SIRPa1 et SIRPa2) ou s'il est spécifique de l'un ou de l'autre? Merci.

Asked by: Magali
Merci pour votre requête. Cet anticorps ne réagit pas en Western Blot avec l'isoforme SIRPa2 mais est spécifique de l'isoforme SIRPa1. Thank you for your inquiry. This antibody does not react in Western Blot with isoform SIRPa2 but is specific for isoform SIRPa1.

Bonjour, J'ai besoin de connaître la séquence du domaine/peptide contre lequel a été générée l'anticorps anti-SIRPa SE7C2. Pourriez-vous m'envoyer cette séquence s'il vous plaît ?

Asked by: Vanessa
Merci pour votre question. L'anticorps a été généré contre une protéine recombinante contenant le domaine extracellulaire de SIRPα1 d'origine humaine. http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P78324 Thank you for your question. The antibody was generated against a recombinant protein containing the entire extracellular domain of human SIRPα1. http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P78324
