SHKBP1 Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SHKBP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SHKBP1 (B-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SHKBP1 protein, also known as SH3KBP1 binding protein 1, is a 707 amino acid protein that belongs to the KCTD3 family and plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways. SHKBP1 acts downstream of the Flt-3/Flk-2 receptor, facilitating interactions with CIN85, which is important for endocytosis and signal transduction. Notably, SHKBP1 contains a BTB/POZ domain that is essential for ring canal formation and chromatin folding, as well as five WD repeats that contribute to structural stability and functional versatility. SHKBP1 exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms and is located on human chromosome 19q13.2, a region known for its high gene density and significant role in various biological processes, including immune response and cell adhesion.
