SEE ALSO...

Shb/Shf Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Shb/Shf protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Shb/Shf antibody (B-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Shb protein, a member of the SH2 domain-containing adapter protein family, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by linking activated receptors to downstream signaling pathways, thereby influencing gene expression and cellular responses. SH2 domain, which is a key structural feature of Shb, consists of two alpha helices and seven beta strands, allowing specific binding to tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins. This interaction is vital for propagating signaling cascades that regulate various cellular functions, including growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Shb is predominantly localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm, facilitating a role in signal transduction, while Shd and Shf family members function as adaptor proteins with distinct regulatory roles, including potential involvement in apoptotic processes. Shb/Shf (B-1) monoclonal antibody′s versatility in various applications makes this reagent an essential tool for researchers studying cellular signaling mechanisms and functional dynamics of SH2 domain-containing proteins.
