SH3BGR Antibody (46.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SH3BGR protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SH3BGR antibody (46.1) is available as the non-conjugated format. SH3BGR, also known as 21-glutamic acid-rich protein (21-GARP), is a 239-amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in heart and skeletal muscle tissues where SH3BGR is differentially expressed. SH3BGR′s proline-rich region features a consensus sequence for SH3-binding, which is essential for mediating protein-protein interactions, while the acidic C-terminal region contains a glutamic acid-rich domain that may adopt a coiled-coil structure, facilitating the formation of multimeric complexes. These structural characteristics are vital for SH3BGR′s function in signal transduction, as these features enable SH3BGR to interact with various signaling molecules, thereby influencing cellular responses to external stimuli. SH3BGR gene is located proximal to HMG14 on chromosome 21q22.3, highlighting SH3BGR′s potential involvement in genetic regulation and expression patterns relevant to specific physiological conditions.
