SEE ALSO...

Serglycin Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects serglycin in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Serglycin is a chondroitin sulfate-bearing proteoglycan primarily located in the secretory granules of various hematopoietic cells, where serglycin plays a crucial role in the storage and transport of cationic granular proteins, including granzymes and perforin. This localization is significant because serglycin facilitates the granule-mediated exocytosis pathway, which is essential for the immune system′s ability to eliminate virus-infected and tumor cells through the action of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells. By ensuring the proper transport and release of these cytotoxic proteins, serglycin is vital for maintaining effective immune responses and mediating apoptosis in target cells. Anti-serglycin antibody (H-9) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying immune function and the mechanisms of granule exocytosis, providing insights into the complex interactions that underpin cellular responses to infection and malignancy.
