SEE ALSO...

SENP7 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SENP7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SENP7 (E-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SENP7 plays a crucial role in regulating SUMO (small ubiquitin-related modifier) pathways, which are essential for various cellular functions such as transcription, DNA repair, and cell cycle progression. SENP7 participates in desumoylation by removing SUMO modifications from target proteins, influencing their activity and stability - a regulation vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals. SENP7 interacts with specific proteins, including transcription factor MEF2, which is critical for muscle differentiation and development. Through modulating MEF2′s sumoylation status, SENP7 enhances transcriptional activity, highlighting SENP7′s importance in muscle biology and other cellular processes. Anti-SENP7 antibody (E-8)′s ability to effectively detect and characterize SENP7 across multiple species and applications makes this reagent invaluable for researchers studying SUMOylation and its implications in various biological contexts.
