SEN15 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SEN15 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SEN15 (F-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SEN15, also known as TSEN15 (tRNA-splicing endonuclease subunit Sen15) or C1orf19, is a crucial nuclear protein involved in the splicing of tRNA, a process essential for proper protein synthesis. SEN15 is predominantly expressed in the testis and uterus, highlighting its potential role in reproductive biology. As a non-catalytic subunit of the multi-protein tRNA-splicing endonuclease complex, SEN15 is integral to the identification and cleavage of pre-tRNA at both the 5′ and 3′ splice sites, which is vital for the removal of introns and the generation of functional tRNA molecules. Furthermore, the endonuclease complex, with SEN15 as a key component, is also implicated in mRNA processing, suggesting SEN15 may serve as a link between tRNA and mRNA splicing events.
