    SDSL Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SDSL protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SDSL (B-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SDSL protein, also known as serine dehydratase-like or serine dehydratase 2, consists of 329 amino acids and is a member of the serine/threonine dehydratase family. SDSL plays a crucial role in protein metabolism, particularly in converting L-serine to pyruvate and ammonia, similar to L-serine dehydratase. SDSL localizes primarily in the cytoplasm, efficiently participating in metabolic pathways essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and energy production. Proper functioning of SDSL is vital, as dysregulation of serine metabolism can lead to various metabolic disorders and impact overall cellular health.
