SEE ALSO...

SDHA Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SDHA protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SDHA antibody (F-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SDHA protein, a crucial component of the succinate dehydrogenase complex, plays a vital role in the tricarboxylic acid cycle and electron transport chain, facilitating the conversion of succinate to fumarate while simultaneously reducing ubiquinone to ubiquinol. This dual function is essential for cellular respiration and energy production, highlighting SDHA′s importance in maintaining mitochondrial function. Disruptions in SDHA can lead to severe mitochondrial dysfunction, which is linked to various genetic disorders, including juvenile encephalopathy and Leigh Syndrome, underscoring SDHA′s critical nature in human health. Additionally, mutations in SDHA have been associated with hereditary paraganglioma, while inactivating mutations in SDHB correlate with inherited cases of pheochromocytoma. SDHA (F-2) antibody′s ability to effectively detect across multiple applications makes this product an invaluable tool for researchers studying mitochondrial function and related pathologies.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390381 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
