SAP 30BP Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SAP 30BP of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SAP 30BP (G-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SAP 30BP, also known as HTRG, HTRP, or HCNGP, consists of 308 amino acids and is a member of the HCNGP family, functioning primarily as a transcription regulator. Nuclear localization enables SAP 30BP to interact with other key proteins, such as SAP 30, which is part of the histone deacetylase complex that includes mSin3A, HDAC1, HDAC2, RbAp48, RbAp46, and SAP 18. This interaction suggests SAP 30BP plays a vital role in regulating genes associated with cell survival and apoptosis. SAP 30BP′s ability to induce cell death highlights a function in cellular corepression of transcription, making SAP 30BP an important player in the balance between cell survival and programmed cell death.
