    SEE ALSO...

SAP 30 Antibody (CA14) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects SAP 30 protein of human origin by immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SAP 30 antibody (CA14) is available as a non-conjugated format. SAP 30 protein plays a crucial role in gene expression regulation through chromatin remodeling involvement. SAP 30 (CA14) antibody recognizes a component of the mSin3 corepressor complex, essential for histone deacetylation and transcriptional silencing. SAP 30 interaction with histone deacetylases HDAC1 and HDAC2, along with other associated proteins, facilitates chromatin structure alteration, making SAP 30 a key player in dynamic transcription regulation. Understanding SAP 30 function is vital, as SAP 30 contributes to cellular homeostasis maintenance and has implications in various diseases where gene expression becomes dysregulated. Anti-SAP 30 antibody (CA14) enables researchers to gain insights into transcriptional regulation mechanisms and chromatin dynamics in health and disease.

Can sc-130425: SAP 30 (CA14) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-130425: SAP 30 (CA14) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
