S-100A10 Antibody (4E7E10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects S-100A10 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-S-100A10 antibody (4E7E10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. S-100A10, also known as the cellular ligand of annexin II, plays a crucial role in modulating biological signaling pathways by interacting with various target proteins. S-100A10 participates in forming a heterotetrameric complex with Annexin II on the extracellular surface of cancer cells, which is significant for plasminogen activation, although this interaction isn′t essential for localization or function. S-100A10 also serves as a cellular chaperone for hepatitis B virus polymerase, facilitating relocation from the cytoplasm to the nucleus, thus implicating S-100A10 in viral replication. Such unique functions highlight S-100A10′s importance in both cancer biology and viral pathogenesis, making S-100A10 (4E7E10) monoclonal antibody a valuable research tool for studying these critical areas.

How can S-100A10 (4E7E10): sc-81153 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-81153 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-81153 FITC).
