RUNX3 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects RUNX3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RUNX3 (A-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RUNX3, a member of the Runt-related transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression related to cellular differentiation and cell cycle progression. RUNX3 is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic cells, including myeloid and B-cell lines, as well as in the spleen. RUNX3 functions as a tumor suppressor in gastric epithelial cells, where inactivation through hypermethylation is a common event in gastric cancer, making RUNX3 a potential biomarker for diagnosis and risk assessment. Detection of hypermethylation in RUNX3 gene′s CpG island can provide valuable insights into gastric cancer pathology, highlighting RUNX3′s importance in both normal cellular function and cancer development.
