Rtn-3 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rtn-3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Rtn-3 antibody (F-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rtn-3, a member of the Reticulon family, plays a crucial role in the formation and maintenance of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) structure, which is essential for proper cellular function and protein synthesis. Rtn-3 is primarily localized in the ER membrane, where Rtn-3 contributes to the shaping of the tubular structures that are vital for the transport of proteins and lipids within the cell. Rtn-3′s importance in maintaining ER morphology is underscored by Rtn-3′s involvement in various cellular processes, including apoptosis and neurodegeneration, making Rtn-3 a significant target for research in neurobiology and related fields. The human Rtn-3 gene is located on chromosome 11q13 and exhibits widespread expression, with the highest levels found in the brain, indicating Rtn-3′s potential role in neurological functions.
