SEE ALSO...

RT1-D Antibody (OX17) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RT1-D protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). RT1-D (OX17) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RT1-D protein is a major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II antigen, which plays a crucial role in the immune system by presenting processed antigens to CD4+ helper T-cells, thereby initiating and regulating immune responses. The structure of RT1-D consists of an alpha and beta chain that form a heterodimer, allowing binding to peptide fragments derived from extracellular proteins. This structural configuration ensures T-cells can recognize and respond to pathogens, thus maintaining immune surveillance and homeostasis. The ability of RT1-D to interact with various peptides and polymorphic nature contribute to the diversity of immune responses, making RT1-D a vital component in the adaptive immune system.

How can RT1-D (OX17): sc-53075 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Cweed
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53075 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53075 FITC).
