    RSL24D1 Antibody (3H2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RSL24D1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RSL24D1 (3H2) antibody is available as a non-conjugated format. RSL24D1 protein, also known as L30, RPL24L, or HRP-L30-iso, is a crucial component of the ribosomal machinery, specifically involved in the biogenesis of the large 60S ribosomal subunit. This 163 amino acid nuclear protein plays a significant role in ribosome assembly, essential for protein synthesis in all living cells. RSL24D1 associates with nuclear and cytoplasmic pre-60S particles during biogenesis, facilitating proper docking of proteins necessary for ribosome assembly. Once the ribosomal subunit forms completely, RSL24D1 dissociates from pre-60S particles, allowing exchange with Ribosomal Protein L24, ensuring functional integrity of the ribosome. RSL24D1′s interaction with various ribosomal proteins highlights RSL24D1′s importance in maintaining protein synthesis efficiency, vital for cellular function and overall organismal health.

    Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-100840: RSL24D1 (3H2) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
