    SEE ALSO...

RNMTL1 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RNMTL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RNMTL1 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RNMTL1, also known as RNA methyltransferase like 1 or HC90, is a 420 amino acid protein that belongs to the RNA methyltransferase trmH family, which is crucial for the transfer of methyl groups to RNA molecules. This post-translational modification influences RNA stability, splicing, and translation, thereby playing a significant role in regulating gene expression and cellular signaling pathways. RNMTL1 is predominantly expressed in normal liver tissue and hepatocarcinoma, highlighting potential involvement in cancer biology. The gene encoding RNMTL1 is located on human chromosome 17, a region that is home to several important tumor suppressor genes, including p53 and BRCA1, both essential for maintaining genomic integrity and preventing tumorigenesis. RNMTL1′s interaction with these tumor suppressors may provide insights into cancer development and progression, making anti-RNMTL1 antibody (F-3) a valuable tool for researchers studying RNA modifications and their implications in health and disease.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374210 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
