RNF26 Antibody (1-RE42) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects the RNF26 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RNF26 antibody (1-RE42) is available as a non-conjugated format. RNF26, also known as ring finger protein 26, is a 433 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the ubiquitination pathway, which is essential for protein degradation and cellular regulation. RNF26 contains a RING-type zinc finger motif, characterized by a conserved cysteine-rich domain capable of binding two zinc ions, which is significant for mediating protein-protein interactions and facilitating the ubiquitination process. RNF26 is ubiquitously expressed and has been found to be upregulated in various cancer cell lines, indicating potential involvement in tumorigenesis. The gene encoding RNF26 is located on human chromosome 11, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Jacobsen syndrome, highlighting RNF26′s importance in both normal cellular function and disease states.
