RIP4 Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects RIP4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RIP4 (E-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RIP4 protein, also known as receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 4, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the modulation of epidermal growth and differentiation. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, RIP4 interacts with tumor necrosis factor receptors (TNFRs) to facilitate downstream signaling that can lead to apoptosis, making RIP4 vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals. RIP4′s structure includes ten ankyrin repeats and a protein kinase domain, which are essential for its function in activating the NFκB signaling pathway, a key regulator of immune responses and cell survival. Additionally, alternative splicing of RIP4 results in two isoforms, further diversifying RIP4′s functional roles in cellular processes.
