Ribosomal Protein S5 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ribosomal Protein S5 (RPS5) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RPS5 antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RPS5 is a crucial 204 amino acid component of the 40S ribosomal subunit, which plays a vital role in protein synthesis. Located in the cytoplasm, RPS5 is part of the S7P family of ribosomal proteins and is essential for ribosome assembly and function, ensuring accurate translation of messenger RNA into proteins.
