Rho J Antibody (FF-19) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the Rho J protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rho J antibody (FF-19) is available as the non-conjugated form. Rho J, also known as TCL (Tc10-like GTP-binding protein TCL), ARHJ, TC10B, or RASL7B, is a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which play critical roles in various cellular processes. Rho J protein is primarily located on the cytoplasmic side of the cell membrane and in early endosomes, where Rho J functions as a GTP-binding protein involved in clathrin-dependent endocytosis. Rho J′s cellular localization enables regulation of actin dynamics at the membrane, facilitating reorganization of cortical actin structures essential for cell migration and shape changes. Additionally, Rho J interacts with effector proteins containing a CRIB (Cdc42/Rac interactive binding) domain, similar to closely related counterparts TC10 and Cdc42, further underscoring Rho J′s role in cytoskeletal regulation. Notably, Rho J has two isoforms resulting from alternative splicing, contributing to functional diversity in cellular signaling pathways.
