SEE ALSO...

Rho D Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Rho D protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rho D (H-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rho D protein, a small GTPase, plays a crucial role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton and is essential for maintaining cellular architecture and motility. Specifically, Rho D is localized to the cytoplasm and plasma membrane, where Rho D orchestrates the dynamics of endosomal trafficking and the organization of actin filaments. This localization is vital for processes such as cell migration and adhesion, as Rho D′s activity can counteract the effects of Rho A, another member of the Rho family, which promotes the formation of stress fibers and focal adhesions. By disassembling these structures, Rho D facilitates cellular movement and may have implications in cancer biology, particularly in the context of tumor metastasis. Rho D′s ability to modulate these pathways highlights Rho D′s potential as a therapeutic target, especially in conditions where altered cell migration contributes to disease progression.

Can Rho D (H-6): sc-365241 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your question. Yes, Rho D (H-6): sc-365241 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
