    SEE ALSO...

RG9MTD1 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects RG9MTD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RG9MTD1 (A-8) antibody is available as a non-conjugated format. RG9MTD1 protein belongs to the RNA methyltransferase family, playing a vital role in transferring methyl groups to RNA molecules and influencing various cellular processes. RG9MTD1 functions in RNA modification, which regulates gene expression, cell growth, and signaling pathways. Such modification affects RNA stability and translation, impacting cellular function and potentially contributing to tumorigenesis. RG9MTD1 protein, along with RG9MTD2 and RG9MTD3, participates in methylation events that may lead to carcinogenesis, making RG9MTD1 significant in cancer research. While RG9MTD1 and RG9MTD2 exist as single isoforms, RG9MTD3 is expressed in three isoforms through alternative splicing, potentially diversifying functional roles in cellular processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515289 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
