SEE ALSO...

RFX5 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RFX5 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-RFX5 antibody (C-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RFX5 protein plays a crucial role in the regulation of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II gene expression, which is vital for the immune response as RFX5 presents antigens to T cells, thereby initiating adaptive immunity. RFX5 is part of a larger protein complex that includes RFX1, RFX2, and RFX3, which bind to specific DNA sequences in the promoters of MHC class II genes, facilitating their transcription in response to signals such as interferon-γ. Proper functioning of RFX5 and associated proteins is essential for the immune system′s ability to recognize and respond to pathogens, making RFX5 a significant target for research in immunology and potential therapeutic interventions.

About 1year ago,we bought the antibody RFX5(C-3)-PE,we used it to detec RFX5 protein in T cell by FACS.However, when we used it on CAR-T cells with RFX5 knocked out, this antibody was still able to detect fully expressed RFX5.Can you arrange a support?

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with RFX5 (C-3): sc-271756?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
