REM Antibody (24E4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects REM protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-REM antibody (24E4) is available as the non-conjugated format. REM protein, a member of the RGK subfamily of Ras-like GTPases, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and is particularly important in cardiac muscle, where REM protein is highly expressed. REM protein is involved in mediating two distinct signal transduction pathways that regulate cytoskeletal reorganization and voltage-gated calcium channel activity, which are vital for maintaining proper cardiac function. Notably, REM protein interacts with several 14-3-3 isoforms and calmodulin in a calcium-dependent manner, highlighting REM protein′s role in calcium signaling pathways.
