    SEE ALSO...

Relaxin Receptor 3 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Relaxin Receptor 3 (RXFP3) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-RXFP3 antibody (D-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RXFP3, also known as Relaxin/insulin-like family peptide receptor 3, RLN3R1, GPCR135, and SALPR, is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in the central nervous system by binding to Relaxin 3, which is essential for the differentiation and maintenance of neuronal tissues. RXFP3 mediates the central processing of sensory signals and is implicated in modulating stress responses, making RXFP3 a significant target for research in neurobiology and stress-related disorders. RXFP3 is predominantly expressed in the brain, with the highest levels found in the substantia nigra and pituitary gland, followed by the hippocampus, spinal cord, amygdala, caudate nucleus, and corpus callosum, while exhibiting lower expression in the cerebellum. RXFP3 is also present in peripheral tissues, with notable expression in the adrenal glands and lower levels in the pancreas, salivary glands, placenta, mammary glands, and testis.

Can Relaxin Receptor 3 (D-10): sc-377365 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. Yes, Relaxin Receptor 3 (D-10): sc-377365 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
