RARβ2 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody raised against amino acids 1–55 at the N-terminus of human RARβ2, capable of detecting RARβ2 in mouse, rat, and human samples by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Retinoic Acid Receptor Beta 2 (RARβ2), also known as NR1B2, RAR beta-2, or retinoic acid receptor beta isoform 2, is a nuclear receptor located primarily in the cell nucleus, where RARβ2 functions as a transcription factor regulating gene expression in response to retinoic acid signaling. The nuclear localization of RARβ2 is crucial as RARβ2 directly influences the processes essential for normal development and homeostasis such as transcription of genes involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Loss or reduced expression of RARβ2 has been associated with various cancers, including breast, lung, and oral cancers, highlighting RARβ2′s potential role as a tumor suppressor. By providing specific and reliable detection of RARβ2, anti-RARβ2 antibody (B-12) is an invaluable tool for research into retinoid signaling pathways, gene regulation, and the molecular mechanisms underlying carcinogenesis.

How can RARβ2 (B-12): sc-514585 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: cjMara
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to HRP (sc-514585 HRP), phycoerythrin (sc-514585 PE), fluoroscein (sc-514585 FITC) and AlexaFluors.
