RANTES Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RANTES in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RANTES antibody (A-4) is available in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, such as agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RANTES, also known as regulated upon activation, normal T cell expressed and secreted, plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a potent chemoattractant for monocytes and natural killer cells, thereby facilitating their migration to sites of inflammation or injury. RANTES is primarily expressed by platelets, eosinophils, fibroblasts, macrophages, endothelial cells, and T lymphocytes, highlighting its importance in both innate and adaptive immunity.
