RAGE Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect the human Receptor for Advanced Glycation End Products (RAGE) by targeting amino acids 1-300 of the protein. RAGE is a critical type I membrane protein expressed on the surface of endothelial cells, mononuclear phagocytes, and vascular smooth muscle cells, where RAGE functions as a key mediator in the recognition and binding of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), as well as other ligands such as high-mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) and S100 proteins.
