    SEE ALSO...

Raftlin-2 Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Raftlin-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Raftlin-2 (F-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Raftlin-2, also known as RFTN2 (raftlin family member 2), is a crucial 501 amino acid cell membrane protein that plays a significant role in the assembly and maintenance of lipid rafts, which are specialized membrane microdomains essential for B-cell activation during B-cell receptor signal initiation. Proper functioning of Raftlin-2 is vital for immune responses, as lipid rafts facilitate the clustering of signaling molecules, thereby enhancing the efficiency of signal transduction pathways. Raftlin-2 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 2q33.1 and mouse chromosome 1 C1.2, with chromosome 2 being the second largest in the human genome, comprising approximately 8% of total DNA and containing over 1,400 genes. Mutations in genes located on this chromosome have been linked to various genetic disorders, highlighting the importance of understanding Raftlin-2′s role in cellular processes and disease mechanisms.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with Raftlin-2 (F-7): sc-514540?

    Asked by: Germaine
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
