Rad53 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rad53 protein of Saccharomyces cerevisiae origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Rad53 antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rad53 plays a critical role in the DNA damage response, particularly in the regulation of cell cycle checkpoints, which are essential for maintaining genomic integrity. Rad53 (A-9) monoclonal antibody functions as a key protein kinase that mediates the G2 and S phase arrest in response to DNA damage, allowing cells to repair their DNA before proceeding with division. Rad53 activation is intricately regulated by Mec1, a homolog of the human ATM protein, which senses DNA damage and initiates the checkpoint signaling cascade. Rad53 interacts with several other proteins, including Rad9, Rad17, Rad24, and Mec3, which are involved in the activation of the G1 and G2 checkpoints, as well as Pol2, which is crucial for the S phase checkpoint. This coordinated response underscores Rad53′s importance in preventing the propagation of damaged DNA, thereby playing a vital role in cancer prevention and cellular health.

御社sc-74427のWBで伺います。検出はRad53○、リン酸化Rad53×でした。ブロッキングはミルク、BSAいづれも×。同ライセートでAbcamさんのRad53抗体はリン酸化Rad53も検出されました。sc-74427はリン酸化Rad53を認識しないのでしょうか?或はブロッキングをリン酸化タンパク質の検出に強い試薬にかえると改善されるなど情報ありますでしょうか?
