SEE ALSO...

RACK7 Antibody (RF-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RACK7 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RACK7 antibody (RF-9) is available as a non-conjugated format. RACK7, also known as ZMYND8 (zinc finger MYND domain-containing protein 8), plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and gene regulation, particularly in response to DNA damage. RACK7 is primarily located in the nucleus, where ZMYND8 is involved in transcription regulation and cellular stress response. Nuclear localization of RACK7 enables interaction with various transcription factors and chromatin remodeling complexes, influencing gene expression patterns vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental changes. RACK7 contains multiple functional domains, including a bromodomain and zinc finger motifs, which facilitate interactions with other proteins and contribute to regulatory functions. In response to DNA damage, RACK7 undergoes phosphorylation by ATM or ATR, highlighting ZMYND8′s role in cellular response to genotoxic stress. With diverse interactions and regulatory capabilities, RACK7 remains essential for proper cellular function and has implications in various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and survival.
