SEE ALSO...

Rab 5A Antibody (E-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 5A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rab 5A antibody (E-11) is available as the non-conjugated form. Rab 5A protein plays a crucial role in the early stages of endocytosis and is essential for vesicle transport within cells. Specifically, Rab 5A localizes to early endosomes, where Rab 5A regulates vesicle fusion with target membranes, facilitating sorting and delivery of internalized materials. This localization maintains cellular homeostasis and ensures proper processing and distribution of nutrients and signaling molecules. Rab 5A interacts with various effector proteins that mediate these processes, underscoring Rab 5A′s importance in cellular trafficking pathways. Rab 5A′s ability to coordinate vesicle movement is critical for numerous physiological functions, including receptor recycling and signaling pathway regulation, making Rab 5A a key player in cellular communication and metabolism.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-166600 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
