Rab 5A Antibody (D-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects Rab 5A in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rab 5A plays a crucial role in the early stages of endocytosis and is essential for the fusion of early endosomes, which are vital for cellular uptake of nutrients and signaling molecules. Rab 5A is primarily located on the cytoplasmic side of early endosomes, where Rab 5A regulates the trafficking of vesicles and the sorting of membrane proteins.
