Rab 43 Antibody (D-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects Rab 43 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rab 43 antibody (D-12) is available as a non-conjugated antibody. Rab 43, also known as ISY1, Rab 41, or Rab 11B, is a crucial member of the Rab family of proteins, which are integral to the processes of endocytosis and biosynthetic protein transport. Rab 43 is primarily localized to the Golgi complex, where Rab 43 plays a vital role in retrograde trafficking to the trans-Golgi network and is essential for the biogenesis and maintenance of Golgi structure. Proper functioning of Rab 43 ensures efficient transport of newly synthesized proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum through the Golgi apparatus to secretory vesicles, thereby facilitating cellular communication and secretion. Additionally, Rab 43 is a target of the GTPase activating protein (GAP) RN-tre, which further underscores Rab 43′s importance in regulating intracellular transport mechanisms. With broad species reactivity and versatile applications, Rab 43 (D-12) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the dynamics of protein transport and Golgi function in various biological contexts.
