    SEE ALSO...

Rab 33A Antibody (EA-65) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the Rab 33A protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-Rab 33A antibody (EA-65) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this important protein. Rab 33A is a member of the Ras-related superfamily of guanine nucleotide-binding proteins, which play crucial roles in cellular processes such as endocytosis and biosynthetic protein transport. Specifically, Rab 33A is predominantly expressed in CD8+ T cells and has been implicated in the immune response to tuberculosis, highlighting its significance in infectious disease mechanisms. Rab 33A′s location within the cell is particularly important, as Rab 33A is involved in the transport of newly synthesized proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi complex and secretory vesicles, a process that is essential for maintaining cellular function and homeostasis. Additionally, Rab 33A shares conserved effector domains with Rab 33B, suggesting potential interactions with similar effector and regulatory proteins, which may further elucidate Rab 33A′s role in intracellular transport and immune responses. Rab 33A monoclonal antibody (EA-65) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the dynamics of protein transport and the functional implications of Rab 33A in health and disease.

I am using Rab 33A (EA-65): sc-130433 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunoprecipitation protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoprecipitation-western-blots
