Rab 25 Antibody (3F12F3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 25 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Rab 25 antibody (3F12F3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rab 25, also known as CATX-8 or Rab 11c, belongs to the Rab family of proteins, which are crucial for intracellular transport processes. Rab 25 is predominantly expressed in epithelial cells and plays a vital role in apical vesicle trafficking, essential for maintaining cellular polarity and function. Proper localization and transport of proteins to the cell surface are critical for various physiological processes, including nutrient absorption and secretion of signaling molecules. Rab 25 has been implicated in cancer biology, showing overexpression in ovarian and breast cancer cells, where Rab 25 is associated with increased cell proliferation and tumor aggressiveness. Forced expression of Rab 25 in cancer cells enhances metastatic potential, highlighting Rab 25′s importance as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in oncology.
